REFUND POLICY

At Ceylon Book Club, we aim to provide a smooth shopping experience. Our Refund Policy outlines return conditions, eligibility, and refund procedures for book orders.

Eligibility for Returns

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect book, you must notify Ceylon Book Club within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence.

To qualify for a return:

  • The book must be unused

  • It must be in original condition

  • It must be returned in its original packaging

Once verified, we will offer:

  • A replacement (subject to stock availability), or

  • A refund to your original payment method

We reserve the right to decline return requests that do not meet these conditions.

Non-Refundable Situations

Due to the nature of printed books, we do not accept returns or provide refunds for:

  • Change-of-mind purchases

  • Minor printing variations

  • Cover design differences

  • Edition type differences (including South Asian or regionally printed editions) when clearly stated in the product description

Customers are responsible for reviewing product details carefully before completing their online purchase.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe, depending on your bank or payment provider.

If a replacement is issued, we may arrange return shipping or provide secure return instructions.

Ceylon Book Club reserves the right to assess each refund or return request individually to ensure fairness, maintain product quality standards, and protect operational integrity.
